Daldang: Auckland’s First Fatcaron Store

 

Daldang is proud to be the first Fatcaron store in Auckland, New Zealand! Since opening our first shop in Auckland’s CBD in 2019, we’ve expanded to Newmarket and Henderson, bringing our delightful Korean-inspired desserts to more dessert lovers.

 

Fatcarons, as the name suggests, are thick, indulgent versions of the French macaron, overflowing with creamy fillings. They’re twice as thick as regular macarons but less sweet, allowing you to savour their rich flavours without feeling overwhelmed.

 

At Daldang, we also specialise in Meringue Cookies, one of New Zealand’s favourite desserts. Our creations, like the Pretzel Meringue or Crackers Meringue, balance sweet and salty flavours—a delightful combination known as Dan-Jjan in Korean. These fully baked meringue cookies with salted pretzels are a must-try!
